What is Chicks Climbing?

“Chicks Climbing” is the official entity that combines the original Chicks with Picks women’s ice climbing clinics with our new rock climbing program – Chicks Rock! Chicks Climbing is the new go-to place for all women climbers of all abilities. We intend to be the epicenter for women’s climbing conversations, Chick sightings, networking, hot topics, and a little girly-gossip.

Chicks with Picks women’s ice climbing program has been Kicking Axe for ten years and has raised $145,000 for local women’s shelters and $8600 for the Ouray Ice Park. Last summer we started the Chicks Rock program to introduce even more women into the vertical world! The Chicks Rock program currently hosts clinics in Red Rocks, Nev., and Devil’s Lake Wisc.
