Description
We want you to take advantage of everything this desert climbing mecca has to offer! Start with our three-day intensive clinic that will help you gain confidence on the rock and learn more than you could ever imagine. Apply your new skills to the optional multi-pitch day where you get to climb in a 2-to-1 ratio with our Girly Guides. Red Rocks is famous for its long routes on beautiful red desert sandstone. Take advantage of this personal attention from our Girly Guides and climb to new heights!
We welcome beginner to advanced rock climbers with 5 different levels you can choose from.
Please note this is not a “FULL PACKAGE” trip. This clinic does not include meals. You are welcome to camp with a group at campsite B. The Girly Guides will be camping at this campsite, our “designated meeting spot,” approximately a 10 minute drive from were we will be climbing.
Transportation is not included, Please see our travel beta page for directions to the campsite. If you still want to stay at a hotel on your own please see our suggested lodging list and make reservations on your own. There are plenty of options for grocery stores and reasonable restaurants to eat at nearby. Please check our what to bring list to make sure you have everything you need.
Schedule
Day 1: Thursday, October 24
Arrive in Red Rocks early enough to drive an hour from the airport to do some food shopping and get settled into your campsite or hotel.
5:00 p.m.: Kick off meeting/orientation at the campsite, directions provided
6:30 p.m.: Dinner on your own
Day 2: Friday, October 25
Chicks Rock clinic, 4-to-1 ratio
8:00 a.m.: Meet at the group campsite geared up for the day
4:00 p.m.: Climbing day ends
6:30 p.m.: Dinner on your own
Day 3: Saturday, October 26
Chicks Rock clinic, 4-to-1 ratio
8:00 a.m.: Meet at the group campsite geared up for the day
4:00 p.m.: Climbing day ends
6:30 p.m.: Dinner on your own
Day 4: Sunday, October 27
Chicks Rock clinic, 4-to-1 ratio
8:00 a.m.: Meet at the Blue Diamond Ranch geared up for the day
2:30 p.m.: Climbing day ends
3:30-5:00 p.m.: Wrap-up meeting at the campsite; plan to travel after 7:00 p.m. or spend another night
5:30 p.m.: Multi-Pitch Group meeting at the campsite
6:30 p.m.: Dinner on your own
Day 5: Monday, October 28
Optional Multi-Pitch climbing day, 2-to-1 ratio. ALL climbing levels welcome. Limited space available. First come, first served.
7:00 a.m.: Meet at the group campsite geared up for the day
4:00 p.m.: Climbing day ends.
Travel after 7:00pm, or plan to stay another night; those of you flying out, plan to fly on Tuesday or catch a late flight
