Welcome to Chicks with Picks women’s ice climbing clinics. 2012 will make it an amazing THIRTEEN years we’ve been kicking axe as the premier Chicks Climbing program. Our participants become self sufficient, confident and skilled climbers who often return year after year to hone their skills. We are psyched to again offer the Graduate program for the gals who want to take their climbing to the next level in the backcountry. What makes this program unique is the fact that we climb, eat, play, and party together after a day on the ice. Our clients get to hang out with our world-class Girly Guides and get to know them on a more personal level. It’s the camaraderie, friendships, and climbing partners that form through the Chicks experience that make this program like no other.

Our mantra is women climbing with women for women. Over the past 12 years we have raised over $155,000 for local women’s shelters as well as $9,500 in support of the Ouray Ice Park which makes these clinics possible. We understand that climbing is a very focused, self-oriented sport. Therefore, we believe it’s important to look outside our personal goals and help those in need.

Our participants take away more from the experience than they could ever imagine. It moves, changes and motivates women to move through perceived limitations and follow their dreams. Overcoming fears and pushing through personal barriers creates confidence and charisma that is unflappable!
