Description
We understand that life is full and funds are tight. Tell us something we don’t know! If you want just a taste of ice climbing without the full commitment, this clinic is for you.
We are going to pack it in! Get your dose of Chicks with two days of ice climbing and still take advantage of the four-to-one ratio with our infamous Girly Guides. Chicks will also be hosting a live auction and slide show during this clinic to raise money for a local recipient. Yup, it’ll be over before you know it, but a good quickie is always worth the effort and we guarantee you’ll be left with that warm glow. We’ll cut you loose a little earlier on the second day so you can either drive home or get to the airport. We know you will be back for more!
We welcome ALL levels of ice climbing from beginner to advanced skills, check Clinic Levels before you sign up.
Transportation is not included, please see Travel Beta for directions to The Victorian Inn, which is walking distance to the Ouray Ice Park. Please check our What to Bring list to make sure you have everything you need. We have a limited amount of demo gear, so if you have it, bring it.
Schedule

Day One (Friday)
Arrive in Ouray by 4:00 pm
4:00-5:00 p.m. check-in to hotel room
5:00 p.m. Meet in the hotel “breakfast room” for orientation and introductions.
7:00 p.m. Pizza and salad at the Inn. Meet with your group/guide over dinner.
Post dinner Sign out demo gear, organize & pack for the morning.
Don’t forget to enjoy the hot tub!
Day Two (Saturday)
7:00–7:30 a.m. Breakfast
8:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m. Climbing clinics in the Ice Park
5:00 p.m. Dinner at the Outlaw Restaurant
7:00 p.m. Public auction and slideshow benefit
Day Three (Sunday)
7:00–7:30 a.m. Breakfast
8:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. Climbing clinics in the Ice Park. Turn in demo gear.
3:30-5:00 p.m. Final celebration. End.
