Description
This clinic offers 3 days of ice climbing over Martin Luther King Jr. weekend so you don’t have to miss much work! It’s also the weekend following the Ouray Ice Festival since you might be tempted to stay for the duration. This clinic focuses on technical skills to become a self-sufficient ice climber and you will be amazed by how much you will take away from the experience. Enjoy the camaraderie and opportunity to network with like-minded women. It’s a great place to make new friends and find climbing partners. Located in Ouray, Colorado, otherwise known as “The Switzerland of America”, you’ll climb in the famous Ouray Ice Park within walking distance to The Victorian Inn. We will fill you up during this three-day event!
We welcome ALL levels of ice climbing from beginner to advanced skills, check Clinic Levels before you sign up.
Transportation is not included, please see Travel Beta for directions to The Victorian Inn, walking distance from the Ouray Ice Park. Please check our What to Bring List to make sure you have everything you need. We have a limited amount of demo gear, so if you have it, bring it.
Schedule

Day One (Friday)
Arrive in Ouray by 4:00 pm
4:00-5:00 p.m. check-in to hotel room
5:00 p.m. Meet in the hotel “breakfast room” for orientation and introductions.
7:00 p.m. Pizza and salad at the Inn. Meet with your group/guide over dinner.
Post dinner Sign out demo gear, organize & pack for the morning.
Day Two (Saturday)
7:00–7:30 a.m. Breakfast
8:00 a.m.-3:30 p.m. Climbing clinics in the Ice Park
6:30 p.m. Catered dinner at the Ouray Community Center
7:30 p.m. Post-dinner workshop
Don’t forget to enjoy the hot tub!
Day Three (Sunday)
7:00–7:30 a.m. Breakfast
8:00 a.m.-3:30 p.m. Climbing clinics in the Ice Park
5:00-6:00 p.m. Optional talk by one of our Girly Guides
6:30 p.m. Dinner at the Outlaw Restaurant
Day Four (Monday)
7:00–7:30 a.m. Breakfast
8:00 a.m.- 3:30 p.m. Climbing clinics in the Ice Park. Turn in demo gear
5:00-6:00 p.m. Final celebration. End.
