New for 2008 is The "Totally Chick" Clinic January 14-19th follows the Ouray Ice Fest Jan 9-13th, why not stay for more climbing with the girls! It has a 4-to-1 ratio and welcomes women of all levels. This clinic will incorporate other elements that inspire women to be Totally Chick: ice
climbing, yoga, massages (extra), mind expanding workshops and panel
discussions. Have fun playing with different aspects of your life.
Chicks has now raised $116,822 for the local women¹s shelters! This year we broke the $100,000 mark! Each winter we host three auctions during our clinics - two in Ouray and one in North Conway. If you are in the area,
please join us for "free beer and cheap gear". Don¹t miss it!
• This year we chose two recipients For The Karen McNeill Scholarship Fund. The winners were Sarah Stratton and Katie O'Brien who both attended The Sampler in Ouray. See our Scholarship page for deals on how to apply.
• We also added a night on to The Sampler so that you get three full days of climbing with plenty of time to travel the next day. We also added a night to the East Teaser so that you now get two full days of climbing and an extra night at the cozy Cranmore Inn.
• We now have clinics that range from 2, 3 and 4 days of climbing the good news is you get to choose what's best for you. Most beginners start with the short format and return the following year for a longer clinic. We are proud that we have dedicated alumni who return year after year. We LOVE that! Each year we have up to 35 alumni out of the 85 women who attend.
