devils lake womens rock climbing

Devils Lake, WI: August 15-18, 2019

Located in the picturesque Baraboo Hills in south-central Wisconsin, Devil’s Lake State Park contains some of the best rock climbing in the Midwest. The park is surrounded on three sides by bluffs that rise to an elevation of 1,450 feet. These bluffs are home to purple quartzite rock cliffs that measure a hundred feet in height, attracting climbers from all over the country. Devil’s Lake State Park is home to more than 1,600 rock climbs. There is no shortage of climbable rock in the park.

The emphasis of this program will be on climbing techniques and technical systems.  We offer Four Levels of instruction to meet the needs of climbers of varying abilities and goals. We welcome beginner to advanced rock climbers. The program maintains a small 4:1 ratio so you will have lots of personalized instruction. Each level is comprehensive and aims to make you a more confident and self-reliant climber. The guides will provide a fun, safe and encouraging environment for you to hone your new skills. We guarantee that you will climb a grade harder after this program.

Transportation is not included, please see our the program logistics for directions to the site. If you want to stay at a hotel please see our suggested lodging list and make reservations on your own. Please bring your own camping gear and check our what to bring list to make sure you have everything you need.
